London Collections: Men

LONDON COLLECTIONS: MEN : MACKINTOSH AW16 by Suzie Jay

Day two of London Collections: Men kicked off with Mackintosh AW16 presented at the Palm Court of the Waldorf Hilton.

This striking art-deco space was filled with white podiums for the models to stand on and around for the two hour duration of the show. The set was designed by Ben Cullen Williams and as photographer for the event production, I wanted to make sure the minimal white structures were captured in a way that would replicate the bright, clean impression of the space.

Editor of GQ Dylan Jones popped in to view and discuss the Mackintosh Autumn/Winter 2016 collection which comprised of iconic British coats in a variety of cuts, colours and patterns.

JIMMY CHOO : SS15 : LONDON COLLECTIONS : MENS by Suzie Jay

Tinie Tempah and Kit Harington took their front row seats for Jimmy Choo's first ever show on Monday at London County Hall.

Showcasing the Men's collection for Spring/Summer 2015, creative director Sandra Choi captured a dapper, youthful vibe.

Slivers of light caught the models' outlines whilst drawing attention to the shoes as they passed along the circular raised mahogany walkway. The production was spot on for this event, British photographer John Deakin's black and white street portraits rolled in the background,  every so often the timing of these images made for a fab composition.
