Greenwich Peninsula : Conrad Shawcross Launch / by Suzie Jay

In September 2016, an “architectural intervention” designed by British artist Conrad Shawcross arrived on the Greenwich Peninsula. The eye-catching metallic chimney flue is sited in Europe’s largest-single urban regeneration area covering 160 acres. The building houses an energy centre providing hot water and heating for 15,000 homes.

Timebased produced the launch event, flooding the interior with reds and purples and the occasional spotlight. The space lent itself to some great wide shots, here are some of my photo highlights from the event.
